Safety on the Road: What To Do When Getting Pulled Over

You are driving down the road when all of the sudden it happens. You look in your rearview mirror seeing those red and blue lights illuminated behind you. It’s a situation that can make your heart sink and your hands sweat. However, it is very important to remain calm and know what to do to ensure the safety of the law enforcement officer and yourself. This is why we have put together a list of actions you should take when being pulled over. The moment you notice that you are being stopped by law enforcement you should turn on your blinker to acknowledge the police over and began to move the vehicle to the right side of the road. You will then want to stop at the first place that you feel is safe for the officer to get out of his vehicle.
