A fuel induction service cleans the build up and deposits of carbon throughout the entire fuel system. You may wonder how that carbon buildup and deposits get stuck into the system. Well, with the combination of compression, heat, and the fuel in the system the carbon is formed. When you use lower grade fuel carbon deposits can form faster. This is why we recommend using a higher grade fuel for your vehicle. However, over time deposits will being to build up and it will start to hinder the proper flow of fuel. Once this happens the vehicle may begin to experience rough idling, hesitation on acceleration, cold starts, and more. If you are experiencing these symptoms it may be time to schedule a fuel induction service. Below outlines the steps it takes to perform the fuel induction service.
- First off our technician will pour BG’s 44K into the fuel tank. 44K is a fuel system cleaner that removes deposits in combustion chambers, intake manifolds, ports and on valves and restores flow in fuel injectors.
- Next, the technician will pour 2 cans of BG’s GDI Intake Valve Cleaner into the VIA (Vehicle Injection Apparatus). The VIA is connected to your car’s intake as well as our air compressor. This GDI Intake Valve Cleaner works to remove the build up on the back of valves and in air intake systems.
- Lastly, our technician turns on the vehicle with the VIA connected, set up, and ready to go. The technician will let the car run for about 15-20 mins. While it is running our technician will rev the car a few times to help push the fluid through the entire system.
Once the fuel induction service is done the proper flow of fuel to power your vehicle is restored! Allowing your car to run as smooth as ever before. If you are experiencing rough idling, hesitation on acceleration or even cold starts it could be time for a fuel induction service.
