For our Saab enthusiasts:

This is the company that put the ignition key between the front seats on the floor, not dash, and insisted on keeping it there for over 50 years.

Saab was the ultimate anti-establishment car company, willing to question the automotive status quo again and again to try something different.

Saab built some of the most unique, forward-thinking cars on the planet.

Common Saab Problems

Here are a few issues we see with Saab vehicles.

Saab Coolant leaks:  The check engine light might come on, or your temperature gauge may be higher than normal. You might spot a puddle underneath your vehicle.  If so, you can try to identify what it is.  Use your finger to touch the puddle, then smear the liquid on white paper.  Coolant most likely will be pink, green or orange.

Saab ignition switch fails:  Symptoms of a bad ignition switch include failure of the engine to turn over when the key is turned to the “start” position, and failure of the radio or headlights to work when the key is in the “on” position.

Saab Suspension problems: most common in SUV models.  Some symptoms of suspension issues include a rough ride, bounciness and drifting or pulling while steering.

  • Fantastic. They had my car in and out on the same day and the cost was a fraction of what I expected. They quickly identified a corroded sensor and fixed it. I had spoke to another company who told me I was going to need new struts without even seeing the car. I'm so pleased to find friendly, reliable, mechanics that seem to be interested in developing long-term relationships with their clients by providing great service at a fair price.
